A longtime member of the commer- cial sales, leasing and development team at White-Spunner Realty, Inc. Wright is among an elite group who have earned the CCIM designation worldwide. "We are proud of the commitment Sha- ron has shown to her profession," said Matt White, president of White-Spunner Realty. "Earning the CCIM designation is an accom- plishment in itself. Directing a group of her peers with the designation says even more about her leadership skills and dedication to the industry." Only about six percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitio- ners worldwide hold the CCIM designa- tion. To earn it, commercial real estate professionals must complete more than 160 hours of case-study driven education. Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commer- cial real estate experience and pass a com- prehensive examination. A realtor since 1992, Wright has served in a number of additional leadership roles in the region, including president of the Bald- win County Association of Realtors where she was recognized as a Realtor of the Year for the association. She also has been state director and regional vice president for the Alabama Association of Realtors. Wright is a past chair and current board member for the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Ala- bama, past board member of the Bounds Family YMCA, Better Business Bureau and the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce. She is also a graduate of the University of Alabama and enjoys cheering on the Crim- son Tide, playing golf and running. "Earning the CCIM designation is an accomplishment in itself. Directing a group of her peers with the designation says even more about her leadership skills and dedication to the industry." – Matt White, president, White-Spunner Realty
