This makes it a $12 billion industry in the state. "This economic impact study is about showcasing the importance of our industry in this state," said ABC of Alabama President Jay Reed. "The data reveals construction is a major industry and extremely important to Alabama. Seeing those numbers in black and white just helps us know specifics when meeting with members, elected officals and beyond."
