Known by all who work with him as "Mr. Frank," Frank Harrington is well known and respected by everyone at Dunn Construction Company. Frank has worked at Dunn for many years. He originally started out his career in the asphalt industry in 1975 with Central Alabama Paving. During his time there Frank drove a dump truck, paving along with sharing duties on the AC tanker and lowboy. Dunn bought out the company in April 1992, and Frank has been with Dunn ever since. At Dunn, Frank drove the AC tanker for 10 years, and he became the loader operator at the Calera plant in 2002. He still operates the loader, along with other duties including track hoe and dozier work. Frank is known for being inquisitive and always learning to love new things. One of his greatest qualities is his willingness to help train and mentor his co-workers. "He has so much knowledge to share, and his mentees are more than willing to listen and learn from Mr. Frank," said Dunn Superintendent Mike Fields. "We are very lucky to have this unbelievably talented fellow on our team." Frank was born on March 19, 1937. He married his wife, Ruth, on June 11, 1960. This year they celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. They have two children and two grandchildren. Frank's hobbies include traveling, camping, gardening and spending time with his family.
